The Gator Keys es un mod de expansión de mapa cuyo objetivo es reimaginar y restaurar el área de Vice City que fue eliminada durante el desarrollo, presumiblemente debido a limitaciones de tiempo. Construido para el proyecto Vice City Next Gen (1.2), este mod extiende el mundo con áreas pantanosas en gran medida acordes con la tradición, una cadena de nuevas islas y nuevas carreteras que conectan todas las áreas con el continente.
El mod aún está en WIP, y se pueden esperar algunos errores;
Sin embargo, el mod incluye:
- Rutas de vehículos
- Mallas de navegación (generación de peatones)
- Luces y neones nocturnos
- Texturas compatibles con la tradición con mapas normales y especulares.
- Generación de coches aparcados
- Barco manejable (de VCS)
- Opción de generar vehículos beta alrededor de las nuevas áreas (requiere el mod Beta Vehicles de JTR6699)

The Gator Keys is a map expansion mod aimed at reimagining and restoring the area from Vice City that was cut during development, presumably due to time restraints. Built for the Vice City Next Gen (1.2) project, this mod extends the world with largely lore-friendly swampy areas, a chain of new islands and new roads connecting all the areas to the mainland.
The mod is still in WIP, and there are a few bugs that can be expected;
However, the mod includes:
- Vehicle paths
- Navmeshes (Ped spawns)
- Nighttime lights and neon
- Lore-friendly textures with normals and spec maps.
- Parked car spawns
- Drivable ship (from VCS)
- Option to spawn beta vehicles around the new areas (requires JTR6699's Beta Vehicles Mod)

- JTR6699 for converting the boat restaurant from VCS and providing beta vehicles, which suit this mod perfectly.
