Cuando era pequeño, Flashback FM se convirtió en mi primera introducción a la increíble banda sonora de la película Scarface (1983). ¡Imaginen mi sorpresa cuando crecí y descubrí que Giorgio Moroder había grabado el doble de sencillos pop para el álbum original! Y todos encajan sospechosamente bien en la atmósfera de Liberty City.
La versión expandida de Flashback FM añade cuatro nuevas canciones a tu emisora de radio favorita, junto con diálogos de DJ, comerciales, huevos de pascua y referencias. Mi objetivo era crear una estación que se integrara en el juego de la forma más natural y auténtica posible, imitando el tono de DJ Tony y el sentido del humor de Rockstar.
Originalmente, la radio fue creada para el proyecto LC'01, cuyo equipo amablemente proporcionó contenido cortado de la versión beta de GTAIII, que utilicé como comerciales. Dado que los diálogos de DJ se generaron utilizando IA, y la tecnología ha avanzado mucho desde entonces, el equipo de LC'01 decidió reemplazar casi todos los diálogos que creé con otros nuevos, realizados con herramientas más modernas. Con su permiso, ahora estoy lanzando mi versión original.

Instalación:Simplemente coloca el archivo FLASH.wav en la carpeta "audio" de GTAIII, reemplazando el archivo original. Asegúrate de hacer una copia de seguridad por si acaso.

When I was little, Flashback FM became my first introduction to the amazing soundtrack of the movie Scarface (1983). Imagine my surprise when I grew up and found out that Giorgio Moroder had recorded twice as many pop singles for the original album! And they all fit suspiciously well into the atmosphere of Liberty City.
The expanded version of Flashback FM adds four new songs to your favorite radio station, along with DJ dialogues, commercials, Easter eggs, and references. I aimed to create a station that blends into the game as naturally and authentically as possible, mimicking the tone of DJ Tony and Rockstar's sense of humor.
Originally, the radio was created for the LC'01 project, whose team kindly provided cut content from the beta version of GTAIII, which I used as commercials. Since the DJ dialogues were generated using AI, and the technology has come a long way since then, the LC'01 team decided to replace almost all of the dialogues I created with new ones, made with more modern tools. With their permission, I am now releasing my original version.
I hope you enjoy the expanded version of Flashback FM as much as I enjoyed creating it. Have fun driving through the worst city in America!
Installation:Simply place the FLASH.wav file into the "audio" folder in GTAIII, replacing the original file. Be sure to make a backup just in case.
